Parent Orientation Letter
July 31, 2007
Dear Parents:
Welcome back to our previous parents and a GREAT BIG WELCOME to our new parents. We missed some of you during the summer. I hope everyone had a great time being able to spend more time with their children. Here are some important things for the school year 2007-2008:
Tuition is $100.00 for the 2-3 year class and $95.00 for the 4K Class. Tuition is due on Mondays or a late fee of 10% will be added to your total.
Tuition is due all weeks of the 10 month school year.
Our first day of school is Monday, August 13, 2007. This is a half day so school is out at 11:30am. Our Center will be open from 7am-6pm for children who need daycare.
Uniforms are not required on ½ days.
Hot lunch WILL be served on ½ days and no-school days.
All forms have to be turned in before your child is allowed to attend school.
School hours are M-TH 8:15am-3:00pm and Friday 8:15am-2:00pm. Our Center is opened from 7-6pm.
All children will be in Ms. Emma’s room until 7:30 am. At 7:30, the 4 year old and above will be going up to the gym for the last 30 minutes of early morning care. Classes begin promptly at 8:15 each morning. Please have your child there and ready to begin at 8:15am. If you are later than 8:15am, you will need to enter through the main entrance upstairs. This will lessen the interruptions to Ms. Emma’s class once class begins.
The teachers would appreciate a courtesy call if your child will be late to school or absent. Please call 576-2234.
Your child will be released only to the people you have listed on the authorization form. We will ask for a picture I.D. before releasing your child to those on the list. Please send a note if someone other than yourself will be picking up your child.
Your child must be fever free for 24 hours before returning to school.
Vegetarian Hot Lunch meals will be served daily. You also have the option of sending a lunch from home. Please remember to not send pork for your child’s lunch. A monthly menu will be sent home each month.
Please have your child bring a bookbag to school daily with an extra set of clothes.
Please label clothing items with your child’s name.
For the 4K class, only 1 red uniform shirt needs to be monogrammed with the school logo. That shirt can be worn anytime and will be used as the fieldtrip shirt. Monogramming costs $1.50.

Children entering after 7:45 will not be able to eat breakfast. Please understand that this disrupts the morning and we want all children to have a nutritious breakfast before they come to school.
Please do not send a full size pillow and comforter for nap time. A small pillow and light blanket is sufficient.
No student will be signed out at the gymnasium door from 3:00-3:15. If you are here during that time to pick up your child ages 4 and above, you must get in the car line to pick your child up from the upstairs. That pickup is in between the church and school – under the awning. After 3:15, you may pick up your child from our caregivers.
